Back in last Year, we shared that we were committed to becoming fully GDPR compliant by the May 2018 deadline. We wanted to give you an update on what we have been doing to safeguard your privacy.
What is GDPR?
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the result of many years work by the European Union to unify and strengthen data protection for all EU citizens. Consent and transparency are the cornerstones of this initiative. The goal behind GDPR is to make sure that organizations are in sync with the prerequisites for protecting their customers’ data.
Yathit is GDPR Compliant!
We are happy to report that we are ready for GDPR and is fully compliant since May 25th, 2018.
We have released a revised Privacy Policy which takes effect May 25, 2018. The changes reflect new rules outlined by the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We’re rolling out these changes globally so all Yathit customers can enjoy these new rights.
